PUD’S ARE FOR EVERYONE!

For many years pee funnels have been marketed under the name Female Urination Device, or FUD. It’s time to retire this outdated term in favor of ones like Stand to Pee or STP (popularized by the trans community), Pee Funnel, Personal Urination Device, or PUD.

Why is it time to change? We have found in 17 years of interacting with our wonderful customers that every gender imaginable uses these products.

There are cis women who can stand and pee while fully clothed without a pee funnel. It is a rare ability and takes practice but it is possible for some! Many women (including trans women) need help standing to pee while clothed. That’s where a Personal Urination Device like the pStyle comes in handy.

Trans men, non binary, and intersex people often have a need for an STP, either for gender affirmation, safety, convenience, or all three.

Cis men may also want a urinary funnel if they have medical conditions that make it challenging or impossible for them to stand and pee.

Creating Incentives to keep marine life safe.

This pStyle is made in partnership with Oceanworks out of recycled ocean plastic recovered from fishing nets, trawls, and ropes. Discarded fishing gear is the most deadly form of ocean plastic to marine life. It takes around 600 years to decompose and makes up about 10% of ocean plastic pollution.

How To Use the pStyle

Maneuver the pStyle through your clothing and place it so the widest part is centered under your urethra. Check to be sure clothing is not inside the cup of the pStyle and it is level. Tilt the open end SLIGHTLY down, relax, and pee. After you finish peeing, wait a moment, then pull the pStyle slowly forward with a firm upward pressure to remove any remaining drops of urine.

Shake vigorously or wash with soap and water and store in a secure place. If water is not available, wash your pStyle at the next convenient time or carry sanitary wipes.

Many users have success the first time they try the pStyle. For some it takes a little practice. You can perfect your technique in the shower.
